Why Functional Medicine and Nutrition?
The scope and cost of chronic disease continue to rise. Functional medicine has proven to reverse this trend by providing better outcomes and cost savings for both patients and the healthcare system in the long-term. Functional Medicine uniquely addresses that physical, metabolic, and structural needs of most patients by evaluating the interaction between the patient's biology, physiology, genetics, social, and environmental factors. Whether in a primary or secondary role, Functional Medicine provides the transformation care needed to promote optimal health and well-being for most patients.
